Express Refill Service

The Express Refill Service provides a shorter turnaround time for collection of your regular, repeat medications. You may request for this service if you do not require counselling for your regular medications that you are already familiar with.

  1. Prescription must have been filled at least once (a portion of each of the medicines on your prescription must have been collected before).
  2. No new medications or changes in medications have been made since the date of issue of the prescription
  3. No new hospital admission or doctor's consultation since the date of issue of the prescription
  4. You do not require any counselling for your medications.

How Do I Request For This Service?

Simply inform our staff at the pharmacy reception counter that you would like to opt for the service with your prescription. Our staff will then issue you with a queue number allocated to this Express Refill Service.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do you accept non-SGH prescriptions?
We accept prescriptions from any of the SGH Campus Institutions (e.g. SGH, National Cancer Centre, National Heart Centre, Singapore National Eye Centre, National Dental Centre).

Why must I have collected a portion of each of the medications before I can opt for this service? My medications have not changed after all.
As each new prescription may come with changes, such as new instructions by the doctor, they will have to be reviewed by a pharmacist. Patient safety is our utmost priority and this check is necessary to ensure that you are taking your medicine correctly, and have the necessary information to manage your medications. You may still sign up for ERS for your next refill of medication if you have not fully filled the prescription.
