X ray Irradiator

RADSOURCE RS 2000 is a biological research X ray irradiator that is designed for cell and small animal irradiation.

Both X ray irradiator and gamma irradiator use photons as an irradiation source to create ionizing radiation. The energy of the photons is lower in RS2000, therefore the X-rays must be filtered correctly to shape the beam to produce equivalent uniformity. The beam profile (proprietary tube and filtering) of the RS 2000 is 'substantially equivalent' to Cesium-137 gamma irradiators.
