Stratalinker® 1800 UV Crosslinker

The Stratalinker® UV crosslinker is a compact device for irradiating samples with defined amounts of UV energy. The instrument is used primarily for the cross-linking nucleic acids to membranes for Northern, Southern, dot or slot blot analysis, as well as colony and plaque screening. The machine can be programmed to operate in Time or Energy mode. The Auto-crosslink mode (1200 microjoules (x100)) is the optimal setting of energy for cross-linking nucleic acids to membranes.
